Meanwhile following on from comments left here over the last few days about the routing of the 30/31 service in Plymouth from 14 April here are the new maps from Traveline. There are a couple of slight glitches but you can clearly see the new routes.

The awkward bridge in question
Stagecoach are struggling for buses how can they keep increasing the services and not have the vehicles
ReplyDeleteSCSW are getting a load of new solos for Exeter & Torbay soon. It's about time Stagecoach started investing in Devon again.
DeleteIt's only ten Solos, which won't even replace all the 20 year old 04-plates on a one for one basis.. but it's a start! Quite a few mid-life E200s, E300s and a couple of coaches have arrived in recent weeks but none of that will really do much to help the overall fleet age profile.
DeleteThere was open topper on 1a George Junction to Sherford this morning
DeleteG 20 March 17:56 All ten SW Solos diverted to Bee Network according to Stagecoach Manchester staff
DeleteIts only really an awkward bridge when Tesco decide to take their lorries under it!!
ReplyDeleteDevon have won £5.3 million and Torbay £7.1 million in the second round of the ZEBRA programme for electric buses, so presumbably a large number of new electric buses coming for Stagecoach.
