  1. There are also a whole load of service registrations and updates for Stagecoach South West in the Exeter Area! I think all or almost all of them have seen changes

    1. Lots for Stagecoach Plymouth area too. Services 1, 1a,3, 30,31 and Gold all have changes from mid April. Also Stagecoach will run 54 Plymouth to Bovisand this year from Whitson.

    2. Where can we find these changes?

  2. The 122 in Torbay is interesting as it is only between Paignton and Devon Bay Holiday Park. I'm assuming the service through to Torquay and Babbacombe will remain suspended until July whilst the roadworks on Strand continue.

    1. Replying to my own post - Stagecoach has confirmed on their website that the 122 will start off as a shuttle between Devon Bay and Paignton only, due to the public realm works in Torquay Harbour and lack of access to Paignton seafront. The situation will be monitored and an extended service may be possible later in the season. Stagecoach is also improving the Sunday service on Brixham routes 17 and 18 from Sunday 31st March, and picking up route 60 (Paignton-Occombe farm, currently Torbay Buses) from Tuesday 2nd April.

    2. The harbour roadworks are just an excuse to reduce the 122 to one vehicle as it could easily have still operated to Torquay station & a loop via all the Belgrave Road hotels and the seafront (as per the abandoned open-top Rail River Link 100), totally avoiding the works and associated tailbacks.

    3. The 122 did not serve Paignton seafront last year either (westbound it could use Sands Road as Torbay Road is blocked in the middle whilst eastbound it would have to double run Sands Road & use Queens Road to turn). Note the 95 also newly misses half of Exmouth seafront & the Dawlish 222 appears withdrawn so Stagecoach appears to have become less enthusiastic about its open-top routes again.

    4. The Brixham Sunday 17 improvements are funded by Torbay Council as part of its improved supported network from later this month (with Stagecoach winning the 60 as you mention).

  4. Interestingly, i have been keeping a close eye on TravelineSW for new route maps of any of the PCB updates from 14th April. Most of the changes now appear, however there is one route lacking, which is quite important - 28! - We have so far got confirmation that the 60 will no longer run, as there is no timetable past this date. The 50 does indeed no longer serve the Crownhill Cloverleaf, and just continues straight past Crownhill Police station up to Tavistock Road. a welcome change which will knock a few minutes off.

  6. 28 timetable is still on the bustimes.org website with times from 14th April 2024... City Centre - Eggbuckland - Crownhill - Derriford - George Park & Ride hourly. Given that CityBus have no interest in running buses in Eggbuckland I assume the details in that timetable on bustimes.org are correct.
