  5. An interesting development for fans of Stagecoach as it would appear we have not seen the last of them in Birmingham following the Commonwealth Games & given the comments on this forum about its operations a number of tenders in Edgbaston, Northfield & other parts of South Birmingham have been awarded by Transport for West Midlands to Midland Red ( South ) Limited for operation from its Leamington Spa garage from January 2023 .

    1. Indeed but it currently doesn't have drivers for them, hopefully it'll find enough as I can't see SC South West sending drivers again lol

    2. I understand Stagecoach are currently percurring extra drivers from across England to operate thier new Transport for West Midlands contracts. The services will based at Rugby. If they fail to fulfil thier contract requirements for the next 3 years severe penalties will apply hence Rotala handling back the original tenders.

  6. Are the ex norfolk green solos for these contracts.

  9. I’ve seen on a local enthusiast social media page someone asking a question about the ‘new Stagecoach 2B to Holly Park’. Anyone have any idea if this is true, or absolute conjecture? Seems a particularly bizarre commercial move if true!

    1. nothing registered - pretty sure that would be a Plymouth City Council tendered operation if it was happening, which I doubt.

    2. Strange they quote a route number as well though. Can't see it though with no subsidy
