The No 70 is a Transport for Cornwall route from Plymouth city centre to Cremyll in Cornwall and never disappoints — whatever the time of year.
It also appears that first are doing an illfracombe - lynmouth service starting end of month 2 full round trips a day(info on bus times.org)
ReplyDeleteAny news when Wheatridge Bridge opens in Torquay and services get back to normal
ReplyDeleteWheatridge Lane will reopen on Monday 23rd May. Was confirmed on the Torbay Twitter account this morning. 122 will be reintroduced from the same date.

DeleteOnce again trees not cut so 122 not serving splendid Meadfoot coast as intended from April last year
DeleteThe 122 is running to exactly the same timetable as last year. There's a road closure at Meadfoot during June which may also be a factor.
DeleteIf that was the only issue then just divert for the period of the closure not the whole season. It's bad enough the Preston-Paignton seafront section is only served southbound with northbound buses running inland via the 12 towards Torquay missing several stops & hotels to avoid the mandatory bridge height restriction in Manor Road despite the exact same buses (and older open-tops) having safely passed under said bridge for years on the old X46 (& 200) with several inches to spare. You couldn't make it up.

ReplyDeleteReally cant understand the point of that, theres at least 10 ex London deckers sat out the front which need work doing to them and they are messing around adjusting a white line! You would think surely at least they would sort out that stuff out first!
Delete151 had many dented and scratched panels taped up bumpers so this probably why choose for repaint.
ReplyDeleteWhat's happened to 469? it's not in the fleet list any more and doesn't appear to be used except for special occasions so i guess it's reserve?
