FlixBus will expand its scheduled network into South West England from 28 April in collaboration with Berrys Coaches and Roselyn Coaches. They will operate a service between London and Plymouth, calling at Bridgwater, Taunton and Exeter.
Coaches will run daily, with frequency increasing over the summer to meet what FlixBus says is “expected high demand.” Berrys Coaches already works with the mobility company through the availability of seats on some of its Superfast connections via FlixBus channels. That will continue, but Berrys will also grow its fleet to become part of the green FlixBus network. The new service will also be supported by vehicles from Coachmarque member Roselyn Coaches
“We have been thoroughly impressed by Berrys’ commitment to our vision and high quality service, and we are delighted to welcome the team and drivers on board. We know that Roselyn Coaches is also a brilliant operator, so we are excited to start working with it.”
You can now book seats on their web site which isnt the easiest of sites to browse through as it doesnt serve Plymouth according to the map – I am sure it will eventually appear there. If you type Plymouth in the departures box you can see the rather limited service. They dont run every day either – but it is a good price. They a\re a long way off being a proper competitor to National Express at the moment, but given time who knows… Its all very welcome anyway
