and yes – these are the confirmed fleet numbers with Citybus!
2202 is currently at Hants & Dorset Trim under conversion to single door layout. The rest will eventually follow but I understand that these may initially enter service as dual doored buses.
The last two (100, 104) of the Volvo B7RLEs have now been delivered to Go North West so the Blue Flash livery now disappears from the fleet

Finally for now
Another former London bus E54 has now been purchased and will be joining the fleet shortly

the E200 MMCs are all in the 1000 range i believe ,with the new E400 Citys in the 3000 range
ReplyDeleteAbsolute rubbish!
DeletePlease do correct me. As the buses are for GCB, the fleet numbers are different hence the 2000 range.
DeleteThe only known numbers so far are 2201-11, it’s best to wait and see what others are numbered.
DeleteThose rattly E200s from London are not a good swap for the B7RLEs that have gone up North.
ReplyDeleteThese E200's should have reduced vibrations due to the gearbox, will be better than the Enviro 200's we have.
DeleteNot in my experience of travelling on this very batch in London. The automated manual gearboxes also gives a very jerky ride.
DeleteSaw a couple of brand new Enviros at Milehouse when I finished tonight, I’m sure the WA20 registrations and red in colour
DeleteAh ok, I was just going off what I have read about the specs, not actually been on these myself so I can't speak from experience. I can totally expect the gearboxes to be jerky given the design, as you said, but overall it seemed like the rattles would still be reduced.
DeleteDo we have a complete list for all the buses that are coming down?
ReplyDeleteNew enviros seen at the depot tonight when I finished work. Red ones with WA20 registrations.
ReplyDeleteWA20DVR and WA20DVT, both allover red made their way down today, passed them on the A38 this afternoon
DeleteExpecting 100 brand new E200MMC's
ReplyDelete60 E200MMC and 30 E400 City, I understand.
DeleteThought it was 60 odd and 30-40 E400 City
DeleteA slight exaggeration for brand new E200MMC’s i’m afraid, more like 70+.
Delete2016/7/9/20/1 WA20DVB/C/G/H/J have arrived so far.
I go by the official confirmation as listed in the monthly buses magazines, pcb are expecting 100 e200mmc
Deletei took 2206 to liskeard the other day, and the gearbox is not too different from driving a leyland titan or leyland olympian with a hydracyclic gearbox, it's ok once u get used to it. and they have nice brakes. wasn't that rattly either....
ReplyDeleteHeard there were some '64 Reg E400 Enviros (EX Stagecoach London) arriving. Is this true?
