Plymouth Citybus is going to see a lot of new and second-hand vehicles into the fleet over the coming year mostly for the Cornish operation, but I am sure we see see them in Plymouth too!
The most recent arrival is another Enviro 200 from East Yorkshire

Meanwhile home grown Enviro 155 is now reported in full swoops livery out of Green Flash.
The is with Whittle for a while, green and white livery and as number 171, the in Yorkshire as 354 in the cream/maroon and also liveried for route 66
ReplyDelete155 now in swoops with go cornwall fleet names.
ReplyDeleteNope, it is in Plymouth Citybus not Go Cornwall.
DeleteI stand corrected. It does indeed have Go Cornwall Branding. This must've been a recent change as I have a photo of it, from the 24th January, in all around Plymouth Citybus.
DeleteOut of intrest with this tender bid will the b7rle be going to gnw or has that plan been scrapped?
ReplyDeleteThey are still going to GNW - two are on the way today! I dont think there are many left now
DeleteWell it was certainly had GO Cornwall branding on the telly yesterday!
ReplyDeleteJake has updated his comment as above!
DeleteBus 100 is still about down here, was on the 11 today (30/1/20), saw it in Liskeard about 3.30/3.35
ReplyDeleteIs the citaro busses going still or are they staying with Plymouth city bus
ReplyDeleteAnother will become a Driver Trainer. Its certain that they will be replaced as Citybus are looking to become ADL only
DeleteTo correct the above, bus 155 has 'Go Cornwall Bus' branding on the front and sides but still has 'Plymouth City Bus' branding in the rear window. Withdrawn buses in the lower yard today (Saturday) were 53, 253, 434, 442 & 482. 139 was also parked with these vehicles and is assumed to have a serious fault. At the front of the depot were withdrawn buses 433 and 440, and on C track were withdrawn bus 485 and the new arrival from Yorkshire, Enviro 200 registration YX57 BXB.
ReplyDelete53 is having an engine swap with 54 due to a problem with 54 chassis I believe? 155 had PCB on the side a few days ago with GCB on the front only. Yorkshire Enviro fleet no. confirmed as 166
Delete139 back in service today (5/2/2020) on route 34
DeleteWhat has happened with the tridents. I know 481 has gone for scrap, 482 and 485 are still at milehouse and 487 has gone to devon and cornwall police. Have the rest gone to roselyn
ReplyDelete100 still in PCB today, inbound 11 at Milehouse about 1220 today (4/2/20).
ReplyDelete139 is back in service, it was on the 34 today, seen at Cumberland Gardens at 1532 this afternoon, 5th Feb
ReplyDeleteI set fire to 253 nearly 2 years ago now, though I think it's still donating parts, but it will never go back on the road
ReplyDeleteCityBus 704 is now in swoops, out today (8/2/20) on 5/5A.
ReplyDeleteAlso stagecoach have at least one dart now painted into plain white (possibly 34153 if I have remembered the number correctly) - first phase of new livery maybe?
Is 702 in swoops too
DeleteI'd love to know why buses are still being repainted into Swoops when the branding for Citybus has been updated to "Lines".
DeletePerhaps "Lines" is only for new vehicles.
DeleteDoesn't make sense from a branding perspective is all. Will be interesting to see what new buses arrive in the next few months
Deletealso to add to my branding rant, the new timetables have been released for Feb on Citybus' website - they're also in new formatting.
DeleteI think it is more to do with highlighting they are 'new' buses, it's stupid really I'd rather they kept swoops and had the livery all in one
Delete34609 (NK04NPU) and 35153 (WA56FKO) are both in White with old logos. This is because Stagecoach Devon are yet to recieve the new vynels. They are also both Plymouth based. 371378 (YY14WGU) i believe is next.
