presentation of an advance ticket, the bearer will be entitled to the
discounted return fare with Stagecoach on the 9W buses from Exeter. These buses
will be running every 15 - 20 minutes from... St Davids Station 5.00pm - 6.25pm City Centre Bus Station (bay 7) 5.10pm - 7.05pm Sowton Park & Ride (inside) 5.20pm - 7.15pm Please note above that the 9W bus will stop in bay 7 at the Bus Station and not in Cheeke Street as earlier indicated. In addition, the normal 9 service will run in parallel with the 9W, starting from the Bus Station. If the scheduled buses are full, Stagecoach will provide additional buses to ensure nobody is left behind. The 9W buses will return from Westpoint at regular intervals from 8.00pm until 9.20pm. After this time you can still catch the normal 9 Service from just outside Westpoint. The £2.00 return ticket will be valid on the normal 9 service as well, but only after the 9W buses have finished. These bus tickets will only valid on 3rd November 2019 (family tickets entitle 2 adults and 2 children to travel together for £2.00 per person) and advance tickets do not guarantee travel to the event. Note that the VOSA application is a cancellation of the service after this years annual event. |

It looks like the 11 new buses PCB were due to get have been diverted to EYMS
ReplyDeleteare you sure? I know that EY do have 11 brand new E400 -entering service now - but these are not the E400 City version which Citybus have ordered
DeleteThose were announced ages ago as E400 MMCs with Customised interiors. It's not the 11 E400Citys which are due for Citybus in December.
Deleteon the subject of new buses, i was reading the Sustainability reports for Citybus and interesting to see the fleet had 60% Euro 5/6 buses in 2018, but now has 55% in 2019. Is this because of the MAN EcoCity buses?
DeleteThey've already announced publicly that they will be coming November/December. And they're not MMCs.
ReplyDeleteOn a stagecoach topic i see 19658 the rememberance bus was on 2s today
ReplyDeleteThere was also a Cancer Research bus running with Stagecoach today
DeleteAs reported before, i contacted the head office at citybus and yes there E400citys coming for us, should be this month
ReplyDeleteWill be interesting to see if they have WA or YX plates. Most new ADL buses this year have had YX plates.
DeleteDepends if they built in yorkshire or falkirk or pcb register them themselves
DeleteLots of rumours flying around saying 63 plate E400s are moving into Cornwall once new Citys arrive. Not sure how well that works for some Cornwall routes... The 11/A in particular.
DeleteCitybus have always had local W.. regns so far so hopefully this continues this year.
ReplyDeleteWell, Ant, double deckers can't access Bodmin Parkway Station, the bridge is far too low, surely?
ReplyDeleteExactly my point, V
