Plymouth Citybus came to a halt for a minute on Monday:
Plymouth Citybus Staff will be observing a minutes silence for the funeral of our colleague today at 13:15 buses will stop where safe and observe the silence.
The tribute was for Dave Salmon who passed away on the 19th April, only a few weeks after being diagnosed with bowel cancer.
You only have to read a few of the messages left on the Facebook page to see how respected Dave was.
I can only echo was has been said by many others. He was a true gentleman and genuinely seemed to enjoy his job and talking to passengers, even putting up with us anoraks asking bus related questions!
Rest in Peace Dave.
