Plymouth Citybus have posted details of their service changes for 28 May 2017. As usual full details will appear here in Devon Transit but just as a teaser…
Finally for today we have this lovely shot from Jason Beverley of the three open top buses at Home Park being prepped ready to parade the second best team in the division to the City Centre on Monday. (Have I ever mentioned that I was originally from Portsmouth?)
Congratulations to Plymouth Argyle and well done to all for getting the open toppers together for the parade
I'm not 100% certain, but almost sure I saw the back end of 106 hanging out of the paint bay yesterday, but now in Red rather than the Blue Flash livery.
ReplyDeleteAnyone have any ideas? 108/109 seem to have been on the Blue flash routes a fair bit of late, perhaps standing in while the others are taken off and repainted?
There was a double decker, a dart and an enviro 200 all on 42/A/B/C routes this afternoon.
DeleteFollow up to my above comment. 106 now in red with swoop. Seen on a Tavistock road inbound 1825 15-05
ReplyDelete106 is now in red swoop livery. I believe the plan is to move all the eclipses to Cornish services later this year.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. What does this mean for the BlueFlash?
DeleteWhy?
ReplyDeleteSo will all the blue eclipses go red (inc 109) and what will come on to the blue flash? New buses like expected for the red flash (or instead). Which Blue one is in the spray shop next?
ReplyDeleteAlso with 60 & 61 refurbished and painted, are 62 & 63 following suit?
City bus are set to unveil their new £3.5 million low emission fleet at the Devon business show on Wednesday 14 June 2017. The new fleet should be on the road by e end of July 2017.
