I know the advertising is for a very good cause, but thank goodness it has been removed from the rear window. Contravision always makes the vehicle feel claustrophobic for me!
Hi Graham. On your fleet list, the 700 numbers a slighly out 705 jumps to 707 and 708 appears twice. Also 53 is now swooped. Just thought I would let you know for when you do you next update.
i know you maybe busy but is there plans for a new tab for target travel on your fleet list? i found a tab with all the small company but was thinking target should have there own now that there getting bigger and better fleet, also as its a bit behind, like it still says that YX09FLV is still red when its in new livery and that its saying there are still ollys in the fleet. though i was there not long ago i cant remember what buses are gone/scrap now too
Withdrawn and stored buses at Milehouse on Saturday 5th November. In 3 rows at the back of the tramshed: Row 1 - 31, 35, 20, 58 & 27, Row 2 - LDP269, 44, 24, 18, 30 & 41, Row 3 - 208, 26, 43, 19 & 32. In a line next to them - 209, 207 & LDP271. At the bottom of the Lower Yard - 38 & preserved Volvo 53. Behind the Raised Depot being stripped - 55. In the Raised Depot - 36, heavily stripped 205, 37 & preserved Volvo 182. The heavily stripped shell of Dart 22 was towed to the scrapyard on Thursday 3rd November.
Anonymous 00:37. Unlikely but true as it was out during the day, probably on the 34A and then was swapped with a Dart at the fuelling point in the evening.
Stripped shell of Dart 55 now in the raised depot and Dart 31 being stripped for spares in the Lower Yard behind the raised depot. Orange gas buses 701 and 704 also in the raised depot.
Thanks for keeping us informed about the gas buses reg No's, which have turned orange already- keep up the good work, it is appreciated. Any sign of the written off gas bus having arrived there yet?

ReplyDeleteFirst gas bus into orange is 701 (AU62DWC) which was parked in the raised depot at Milehouse today (Monday 7th November).
ReplyDelete701 AU62DWC confirmed as orange flash
DeleteCouple of updates to my list above. 208 was out and about yesterday (7th November) on a number of routes. Also Dart 27 is of course preserved.
ReplyDelete27 preserved, rightly so! I wonder if 16 will be preserved too as the R reg which stayed on the road longest (with 17 but is lower numerically).
Delete208 out on "a number of routes"??, unlikely.
Delete17 is a great old bus. I drove it in service today and would love to see it preserved.

Delete207 also seen in service today.
ReplyDeleteWhat route was 207 working on please?
DeleteI wonder if it was the 13 - see below!
Delete2nd orange liveried gas bus noticed today and parked next to 701 in the raised depot is 704 (AU62DWN).
ReplyDeleteOne of the Citybus small Optares was being used by Jackett's on the 13 today (just like 207 was back in early September).

ReplyDeleteThe Solo Jackett's are using is 208. Besides 701,704 there are two more in the paint shop being prepared for spraying.
