Thanks to Richard Smith I can bring you pics of the latest buses to join Plymouth Citybus:
LDP267 and LDP271 have just arrived, couldn't find out when. Took a couple of poor record shots in the pouring rain. Hopefully get better shots next visit. Both © Richard Smith
485 outshopped in swooped livery and not City College blue and red.
ReplyDeleteAt least it is up and working again, after its issues. All painted to match the others too.
DeleteDo we know what will turn to City College livery - if any. A couple of darts maybe.
What is in the sprayshop after 485?
408 and 409 will remain in service. small buses (solo / mpd) only seem to be on the 10, 14, 25, 34a, Liskeard 74 and 79, and 72.
DeleteA formal complaint has been issued to the Traffic Commissioner regarding PCB & a constant breach of health & safety with regards the newest E20D's, the plated standing capacity of 36 is wrong & trying cram 36 standees onto these buses isn't safe to do so particularly where the green flash ones are concerned
ReplyDeleteThe standing capacity of new buses is calculated by the manufacturer, who then has the bus approved by DVSA and a certificate issued. New buses often have several versions of the seating/standing capacity shown dependant on if the wheelchair and/or buggy bay the s being used.
DeleteWhy so many midi darts?! These buses are TOO SMALL!!
ReplyDeleteParticularly on the green flash route
Deletethe target travel bovisand bus will start this Saturday and i think its only a Saturday & Sunday until the summer holidays
ReplyDeletethese are nice buses but when will they start painting them into swoop livery for GCB And PCB?
ReplyDelete27 is still in service. Was on the 61when I sawif earlier (3/6/16).
ReplyDelete27 was withdrawn but replaced 58 a few weeks ago at short notice. 58 now withdrawn round the back with the others.
Delete27 was withdrawn but has been reinstated to take the place of 58, which has recently been withdrawn.
DeleteLondon MPD LDP269 has also now arrived at Milehouse depot.
