This is the planned departure list from Bretonside during the event. Please be aware that vehicles and services may be subject to change depending on operating circumstances. We may add duplicate or additional journeys, depending on demand and vehicle availability. For a more detailed timetable, potted history and more, we will have illustrated programmes on sale on the day - be sure to pick yours up
We are pleased to announce further details about the Celebration of Buses in Plymouth, on September 5th. We have permission to use Bretonside Bus Station for the day, and this will form the focal point of the event - with the free heritage bus rides operating from here. Vehicles that are planned to be in operation on the day:
824 KDV - Western National Bristol FLF
468 FTT - Western National Bristol FLF
AFJ 706T - Western National Bristol VRT
LFJ 847W - Western National Bristol VRT
VDV 134S - Western/Southern National Bristol VRT
270 KTA - Western National Bristol SUL
L401 VCV - Western National Dennis Dart
These will be operating on a variety of routes, including to Plymstock, Torpoint and Yelverton. It is also planned that the final service 81, from Plymouth to Torpoint, will operate using a convoy of the route's vehicles in service on the day.
At the moment the weather isnt looking too bad either so lets hope for a really good turnout to bid farewell to First. For all their faults they will be missed!
Hi I am afraid there will be a delay in your comments being posted here at the moment. The outstanding ones from yesterday / today will probably be posted after an extra posting goes live this evening. All will be explained later! Cheers Graham
