Plymouth City Transport Preservation Group (PCTPG) are pleased to announce that having successfully raised funds over the last year they have secured a very rare former Plymouth City Transport 1948 Crossley DD42 with low height Crossley body one of only 5 built for the corporation.
Originally Plymouth 335 DJY965 has most recently been in Wales and will be returned to her home city on Saturday 15th November.
The bus will be driven from store in Wales by group members to Gordano services in Bristol it will depart there at 10am for Taunton at 11.25 leaving there at 12.25 approx. It will then be expected at Exeter services around 13.15 and leave there at 14.15. It will then take the coast road to Plymouth expected to arrive in the city for the first time in many years around 16.30.

ReplyDeleteOn an updating note. On the Fleetlist, is shows 18 as in the paintshop, well, it must of a been a minor touch up, because 18 is on the road today in the same livery it was in.
Do you know if this bus will be staying at milehouse bus depot? I'm having a look around the depot next week and would like to take a picture or her
