- Kent Top Travel is one of the “new municipals”. Kent council set it up in 2005 to vie for transport contracts including school buses and more recently park & ride services, as a way of moderating competition. It has grown into an arms-length business that competes for work and, let’s be honest, has done very well. Omnibuses
