POLICE are hunting a thief who took advantage of collision between a pedestrian and the bus he was travelling on. The man was seen on the Citybus CCTV system after the bus had stopped in Coburg Street at around 3pm on Friday.

I know these days we shouldn't be too surprised at what people get up to, but this is amazing. It's clear that this was an opportunistic thief, but it must be said a pretty stupid one as the cctv pictures do seem quite clear, even on the this is Plymouth web site. The cctv screens are fairly obvious in the drivers cab so you would think that the thief would have been aware of them?
