A CALLINGTON pensioner with fond memories of being a bus conductress in World War II has enjoyed a special day out in Plymouth thanks to The Herald. Joyce Lawrence wrote to us saying she would like to go to a bus rally and had lots of stories to tell. But we went one better and put her in touch with Citybus traffic manager Brian George.

Always nice to see 'good news' stories in The Herald. Brian scrubs up well!
Typical of the Herald to claim all the credit. PCB arranged the complete event. All the Herald did was to put PCB in touch with the lady. Still at least it was some good PR for PCB for a change.
