Waste management firm Viridor has landed a £1.5 million contract to handle rubbish for Princess Yachts International.The firm, which has sites at Derriford and Plympton, has won the contract to provide the luxury boat builder with 'a waste management solution' for the next three years.
The contract will be fulfilled using facilities at the firm's Plympton waste recycling and transfer station.
Viridor, a subsidiary company of the Pennon Group, also holds a £28million contract with Plymouth City Council to provide waste management services including the operation and maintenance of the Refuse Transfer Station being built at Chelson Meadow
