Residents and tourists in South East Cornwall can now enjoy improved transport links between the coastal communities of Polruan, Polperro, Looe, Seaton and Downderry, thanks to a new bus service run by a local operator.A coastal service between Looe, Polperro and Polruan run by Polruan Bus was withdrawn at short notice before the summer of 2006 and no local operator could be found to run a replacement. But following public requests to reinstate a coastal service, and with the reduction of the First service 81 to Looe, the route became more attractive and the tender to operate it was won by Liskeard and District Omnibus Company.
