On Friday evening after work I found myself at Crownhill needing to get a bus back to Derriford Hospital and was pleased to see an 83 Tavistock bus come in. These all go through Derriford. Well, all apart from this one it seems! Not feeling very well at all I decided to stay on the bus and get off at the George so I could see the new Park and Ride operation in use. Above is the very smart new building which houses a fully manned (by First D&C) reception desk, toilet and shower facilities and snack machines. Sadly it was all but deserted when I was there but hopefully it will increase in use over the next few months. A quality effort all round. It just shows what the Council can do when it wants to!
