A couple of days ago I illustrated the new pedestrian crossing at Armada Way / Royal Parade and mentioned the mural that ran down both sides of the underpass.
Well I have since discovered this link on the Plymouth City Council web site which leads to an interactive full guide to both sides of the mural and is interesting as it gives details on the history of Plymouth as seen on the mural.
The mural itself is preserved and still intact in the now sealed underpass. I can imagine a Time Team Special in about 900 years digging that up!
